help!
I just signed up, but when I clicked 'submit' it logged me out. Then, when I tried to log in, it says that I have an incorrect password and username combination.
Then I tried 'I forgot my password' and it says that my account is currently inactive.
I don't know what to do!

Hopefully you didn't put in a fake address...

I will guard your room from Aimless until you can log in. ^_^

But I'm already in the room, so now you're only preventing me from leaving it!

At least I can keep an eye on you, then.

Sign up again, but this time lie and say you're thirteen. Or wait. You'll always get a warm welcome here, anyway. ^_^

At least I can keep an eye on you, then.

*quickly slips out and locks door from the outside*

This is why men rule the world.

Don't worrie Meggie, we love you, and welcome you to our cult with open arms. You can't have that room back though :o

*big tearful eyes* Aimless, I can't believe you just did that to me! That's so mean. I shouldn't have expected any more from you.

Anyway, Meg, no worries girl. Nobody minds how old you are here, as long as you don't mind the occasional bit of naughty language and Aimless's occasional suspicious comment. *grin*

Now Meggie, I know you were logged out recently, but are you really gonna believe a low down cheap little punk? :(

vindemiatrix
January 2nd, 2006, 06:42 AM
Oh, please. Meg, are you really going to believe a nutty Swedistani with a poor wee Irish girl locked in his tower room?

I better get to growing my hair so some enterprising young man or woman can climb up it.

Meg seriously, don't worry about it. And what were you going to do, abandon the wannabe writer account, make us worry about where she is? Or pretend to be two people? That's sort of silly, and it's not really something I like finding out about months later. Anyway, it's okay if you're 12, as long as you won't dob on us for any adult conversations that go on! And you've already proven that you're pretty mature for your age, which is the main problem I have with younger people joining. (I have this horrible vision of the forum having lots and lots of 11 year olds/young teens who don't take anything seriously and whenever older/less teenyboppery people try to have a conversation about a non current tv show, they just hijack it saying that tv shows from the 80s are all stupid, or, when we're talking about writing, similarly 'young' things happening... but you seem serious about your writing, and pretty open minded. And I know several 20 year olds who would act like that too. So, it's more about the attitude rather than the age) Just remember that this is not a 'teen' writer's group, so adult conversations WILL happen. So if your parents get angry at us for corrupting you or something, it's not my fault for not keeping the forums 'clean' enough. :P And, i'm sure we've had a 12 year old before!

I'll go and delete the other account.

eta: It'd probably work better if it were a real email address... :P

:D

actually, it was a real email adress. i just made it randomly a couple months ago, and haven't used it ever sinse.

ah okay. Just looks like the most fake email address ever lol. Almost as bad as one I saw for a website once, saying www.this.is.not.a.real.site.do.not.click.it.com

Anyway, you can go and edit your introduction post, and change your age. :)
Glad it turned out this way actually, I'd prefer honesty about being under 13 than finding out months later that you were pretending to be two different people, or worrying about where wannabewriter went, or something like that.
