Breif visit! Thought I'd finally share this writing website I've been using for a while. You earn money based on hits your writing gets for as long as your article is on the site (forever, essentially). But you have to keep active by rating articles to be eligible for earnings. I've nearly earnt two dollars after about a year or something of being a member. However, I've not been very active promoting my articles, writing or rating so that probably explains the low earnings.

There is, among other features, a section for posting creative writing which I'm yet to do.

Here's a review I wrote on No Plot? No Problem?: http://www.helium.com/items/1325095-no-plot-no-problem-chris-baty

If you want to join, let me know and I'll send you an invite as that will help my earnings. :D

I have been on Helium for about two years and I have 7 dollars :O Wow huh? I stopped even logging on because it started getting pointless. I was writing so many articles for Helium that I was not writing anything else so I found it be a waste of my time. But on the other hand the forums where you bid for writing jobs might be worth it in the end. I haven't put much effort into that. Instead in the past two years I have written a novel a month and several short stories. At least I feel I have been more productive :P
