We have Windows XP on this machine. But in my login page, just since a few minutes ago, it's been typing backwards ekil siht everywhere, on the internet, in Word, anywhere you can type. the cursor is moving itself back to the beginning, and even trying to select an icon in a horizontal list it is constantly moving back towards the first, too fast to double click on anything but the first icon on the list. It isn't happening in the other logins (where I am now.) So I'm assuming I've unknowingly turned something on, or I've been virused on my login only. Does anyone know what it is? How to turn it off?

EDIT- Switching users then switching back seems to have gotten rid of the problem, but still... anyone know what it was?

Restart the computer. That fixes quite a lot of problems.

Start button, then use the arrows to manouvere.

If that doesn't work, hold the power button in. Give it a few minutes, then turn it on again.

That... is quite possibly the most spastic-sounding computer I've ever heard of.

Roy: "Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

Hope it's OK now. :)

Apparently it was some sort of virus. Bugger that :/
