Can't log in

[Member can't log in]

Hey guys, for some reason, whenever I type in my username and password and hit Enter, the password vanishes and I can't log in. Instead I get the warning that I've only got so many logins before I can't log in again for 15 minutes. I've tried to log in in Firefox and in Internet Explorer, but neither browser will let me. How can I get back into NiH? If I don't figure this out, I may never be able to return!

Are you sure you're using the right password? Isn't there a button for lost passwords and you can get it e-mailed to you at the login page?

Yeah, I know I'm using the right information. Even went and changed the password, but can't log in with that, either. Urgh. I don't know what to do. I just don't get why these browsers won't accept my password. Maybe I'll have to re-register. But I want to keep my username. If Tundra happens to see this, could you please delete my account so I can re-register as GriffinMaiden again? I don't know if it'll work, but I can't think of any other solution. I *like* my username. :-(

Yeah, I changed it from what the system gave me to my own. I don't know how much of a difference it'll make though, considering the problem was that the field would be inexplicably wiped blank when I hit Enter and nothing would go through. :confused:

I also logged in in Firefox and that let me through as well. :? These browsers are so screwed up. I don't really like either; I always preferred Netscape. *sigh* RIP.

So we can lay this thread to rest now, I think. But considering this isn't the first time I've been blocked out of NiH, it may be resurrected again. We can only wonder when...

Well, glad you're back. I would have come and helped somehow. It sounded like a cookies problem.
