Hi,

I'm looking for a creative writing evening class in Perth, WA for my father's 60th birthday. I saw the link to this site on Gumtree Perth and wondered if anyone can help me? I've spent ages trying to find one, but can't find any in the Perth area. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great!

Thanks, Toby

I'm guessing a location that holds Creative Writing sessions on a regular basis.

You might want to try and contact the University's, they sometimes offer classes or short-courses, or might be able point you in the direction of organisations that do.

This is really old but it keeps showing up as a page people have found via google. It'd be awesome if we could get an answer to the question.

Hi.
I am a writer who is looking to set up a small writing group (4-6 people) for fiction/non-fiction Perth writers. I have experience in convening MFA style workshops and have taught creative writing in the past. This is however not a "class" as such, but I can offering writing prompts, opportunities to read as a writer. The main purpose of this group is to so that writers get some good feedback and support for their writing from other writers/readers.
The reason the MFA programs in the US are so successful is because of the workshop format.

Details are on gumtree.

Hey, that's fantastic. Considering how many times this page is hit with people looking for writing groups in Perth, you might need to make a bigger group!
