Medically, everyone has one dominant eye. But, to cut a long story short, my left eye, particularly the muscles around it, is weaker than it should be and strains much more easily than my right. What I was wondering is if anyone here knew any simple eyercises I could use to strengthen the muscles around one eye, exercises I could just do at home in my room. According to a friend of mine who's a trained nurse, there are some, but she didn't know any off-hand, so I'm wondering if anyone here knows any.
Much appreciated. :)

Looking shiftily around? Okay, that doesn't take much energy. You should power look shiftily around, maybe followed by some power eyebrow raising. Or cross your eyes and hold them for some isometric exercise.
Honestly I have no idea. I'm no Olympic eyer. It seems to me, however, that if you want to make your eye muscles strong you should just do something that tires them out (that's how it works for every other part of the body). I'm sure you can spend several minutes doing funny things with your ocular region and figure it out. Bonus points if you do it in the midst of some social gathering or other and make people think you're crazy.

I have problems with my eye muscles too but the excersizes I was given were more for focusing than moving left to right. I would have a look around on the interweb or ask your optician.
It's weird to feel your eye muscles get worn out. I went to the doctors once for a muscle test and I had to go back to my room and close my eyes for a few hours cause my eyes ached so much.

One we do in kung fu warm-ups is t move our head around- up and dowjn, then side to side, and finally in circles changing direction at the lowest point- but staring straight ahead. Not only does this exercise the eye muscles and peripheral vision, but also your neck muscles.
