I'm not sure if this thread belongs in this category but I was wondering if anybody has any information on Chicago May -- her name was originally Mary Duignan and she was a female criminal of all sorts, prostitutition, blackmail, robbery, just to name a few. I'm extremely interested in her and the book The Story of Chicago May By Nuala O'Faolain turned out to be a disappointment. There's another book by Frank Columb, but I can't find it anywhere. :cry:
While I mention her, does anybody else know any famous female criminals like her in the time period of 1800s to roughly 1940s? I know that's a big time span but I can't find anything on anyone else.
