Avatar Size Increase?

Just doin' what you requested and posting so you remember to see if anything can be done to increase the limit on avatar size.

Also the thing is, can't you use avatars hosted on photobucket or whatever? Or is there a size limit for that too.

Yes, you can. But NiH limits file size, so what works on photobucket and or live journal doesn't always work here.

So if it's a bigger file but hosted somewhere else it still limits it?

I've increased the limit from 25KB to 40KB, hopefully that will be more than enough.

I wouldn't want to go much larger because it will slow down the page loading time.

But always open for negotiation :)

I also just tried adding this one to my profile:

It seemed to work even though it was 45KB, so the limit only seems to apply if you upload it. If you host your avatar at photobucket it will probably work either way.
