Hi there. I'm just wondering, is anyone here interested in The Monkees slash (that is, Male/Male such as Mike/Micky)? Don't yell at me for my personal preferences, please. I happen to adore all Monkees slash.

As if slash wasn't bad enough, it had to be MONKEES slash... :o

A few things: I moved this from the Tv, Movies etc section.
Aimless: It's MUCH better than some. Our Nanowrimo section found Thomas the Tank Engine slash.
I now have the Monkees themesong in my head. And, I'm sorry, i'm not laughing at YOU, i'm just laughing at this line... but it brings new meaning to "Hey Hey we're the Monkees, people say we monkey around"...
Also, welcome to the forum!

Theodore Tugboat kicks oodles more ass than Thomas the Tank Engine in terms of talking machinery with big eyes.

Y'know I'm an avid fan of bandslash and I've never even HEARD of Monkees slash. It just proves that SLASHERS ARE EVERYWHERE. If we ever decided to take over the world I bet we could.

They really could, too. Except that all we'd need to do was get a couple of boys to dress as Harry & Draco and get them to make out on international television and there would rise up a global chorus of "*squeeee!*" and they'd be distracted long enough for us to counter-attack.

:cough: Harry/Draco...ew...Harry/Ron all the way! (I'm kidding. Mostly because if I wasn't Harry/Draco fans would kill me, even though I DO like Harry/Ron so much more...) ;)

lol. xD Well, yeah. But Micky's hotness makes up for it all. I mean...dude. Micky lookin' all hot and stuff whilst messing around with Mike?
Oh, yeah, I'd say Mike was hot, too. But I hate Mike. I hate all of The Monkees but Micky. Yup. Think about hating seventy five percent of your favorite band AND T.V. show (well, one of my favorite shows anyway).
By the way, before you get too sore at me for acting immature, if I have an actual reason to be mildly intelligent beyond that of forming my opinion (in this case, Micky/Mike being awesome together and Micky being uber sexy), I will be as intellectual as I am capable of.

Are the Monkees a band...?
And yanno, I've found Pong slash on FF.net. As in the game. Two paddles and a ball. SLASH.
I've also found Kirby slash. KIRBY HAS NO GENDER. WTF, WORLD.
(I don't go looking for it but I saw 'Pong' as a category and was like who writes PONG fic?)
I think I've heard that worldwide fangirl SQUEE once. When fangirls simultaneously read the passage in HP6 where it says something like "....[Harry] was becoming increasingly obsessed with Malfoy..."

Yup the Monkees are a band. They're a T.V. band, actually, that then came to be a real band later on.
Here are the names, if you want to look them up for pictures or anything:
Micky Dolenz (sometimes spelled Mickey, with an e, although that's 'incorrect' spelling, it's his nickname so it doesn't matter much) also called Micky Braddock (his stage name for when he did Circus Boy at age ten), his real name however, is George Michael Dolenz, Jr..
Mike Nesmith (real name Robert Michael Nesmith. Stage name, according to him, Mike Blessing.)
Davy Jones
Peter Tork (real name Peter Thorkelson)

Oh holy mother of shit. There's a whole Pong SECTION. Three pages of Pong-fics.
And you know what people are saying?
They're complaining because there isn't a Tretris section.
Which...there *also* is...
A little part of me just died...thank you ffn!

Except not really.

BWAHAHAHAHA now THAT would provoke a fangirly squee from me and there wasn't even anything slashy mentioned. I'm just so tickled that TP knows what slash is. Two boys dressed up as Harry and Draco making out would not however provoke the squee from me. I'd rather they didn't dress up for a start. Also if the slashers took over the world I would mercilessly kill all those idiots giving us a bad name by being stupid and fangirly and actually rather homophobic in a bizarre sort of way and then there would be nobody to distract.
But yeah. YAY SLASHERS UNITE!

If the Pong ball and the block Tetris piece had a love-child, what shape would it be?
