I don't know if any of you use Linux, but I figured I should ask. I am going to be getting an old tower I have up and running relatively soon, and I'll be installing Linux on it (because Linux rocks and it's free.) I'm currently looking around on the Internets to investigate various aspects of Linux and see what I want to use.
Not fully satisfied with the looks of ether Gnome or KDE, I've decided on using the Enlightenment (http://www.enlightenment.org/) desktop environment (and I'll probably install Metisse (http://insitu.lri.fr/metisse/) just to play around from time to time,) but I haven't the experience with the development frameworks to decide whether to start from Ubuntu (http://www.ubuntu.com/) or Kubuntu (http://www.kubuntu.org/). I'm sure that I could install both development frameworks if I wanted to, but I don't.
What say you, techies of NiH?
