For those of you who drive, how far do you commute on an average day and how much do you spend for liquid gold each month?

You don't need to bother with conversions; I can do that on my own time. I just want to know how far and how much.

I don't drive, but my grandma does from her town, to work in mine, and I think it's... I'm going give a guess at 20 miles. She said the other day that she pays.... gosh what was it? I think 1500 a month. >_> Because she also comes into town to visit us on her days off.

To school and back is about twenty minutes (almost 14 miles) each way. But I don't keep track of costs and stuff because I'm not the one who pays for it... *shifty eyes* My parents do not make me pay for gas when they're the ones who insisted I drive myself to school.

I walk. But before I moved to Edinburgh I used to drive over 600 miles a week between Glasgow and Edinburgh. I do not remember how much it cost but petrol prices back then were about 75p a litre (which is about $5.60 per US Gallon in today's prices so probably a bit less back then).

I commute something like 150 a week (no joke! I was amazed when I realized that) and I pay around $100 USD for gas each month, of my own money.

Daily round-trip commute is 22 miles. Between that and a lot of other misc driving around, I'd say I spend around $30/week for gas.
