ok... not sure what to make of the current colour scheme... very . . . something - pale and baby's-bedroom-paintjob. :?
if i may make a recommendation for a colour scheme - something with darker colours - purple (amethyst), green (emerald), blue (sapphire), silver... etc. WDYT?
also, i was wondering the meaning of the caption, "the Anti-Halloween" :?: is it to do with religion?
otherwise, i'll be joining soon so look out for me... (although maybe not under this username).

Yeah, the point was to be the furthest thing from 'normal' Halloween forum decorations as possible. The idea came because I was saying we don't celebrate halloween in Australia, but I wanted to do something. And Australia is anti, ie, opposite, to the northern hemisphere... so I did the total opposite to faux scary witches etc that I possibly could. Puppies and kittens! (and otters!) And everyone has orange and black colourschemes for halloween. So I went pretty yellow and rainbows! It is sort of 'anti' in cultural terms, but i didn't mean it to be a religious statement, but you can take it that way too if you want. I also had the idea that 'if the rest of internet halloween celebrations get too scary, come here! we have cuteness!'. But, it also works dually as "gosh this forum is scary and disturbing!" So, either way!

Don't worry. Normally it's white and purple.

hmm... white and purple, you say... *squints in your direction* eet eez eenteresting, no? about my suggested colour scheme, they're just colours i like, although apparently from what I have seen on this forum, i'm not the only one to make comment about the decorations in this place. :wink:

^ Well, purple is just a colour I like. And most people don't mind purple. Also, I didn't want a very complicated colour scheme, because then it gets too hard to read, or starts to hurt your eyes.
And, I just like having fun with the forum sometimes.
