rare & out of print books!

This website saved my life because when I found out that 2 out of 3 of my favourite author's published works were out of print. (Why??? WHY????) The books I got were in Britain, so they hooked me up with a local British bookseller who had the titles I wanted, and I paid in British pounds. The site puts you in touch with booksellers all over the world, and my books were all shipped to me at a reasonable price. (My Dad also found a book he wanted, which he got shipped in from a Texan library...) They sell both new and used, and the entire process I found to be easy and accomodating!

Ah yes, abebooks. A truly marvelous website. I feel your pain with the out-of-printitude of your favorite authors. Publishing houses are pulling books out of print faster and faster these days, making small independent publishers look more and more appealling...
