Weird over-zealous nurse gave me four Tylenol Extra Strength tablets that have about 65mg of caffeine in each...
I mean, she was safe, clean and effective at her job, but I have to wonder what they taught her about pain in nurse school. I told her I had had the shots before and never with any major side effects aside from a little muscle pain in the area. Which I never really needed Tylenol to control, I should have added. It was more of a "damn that's annoying" kind of pain--mosquito-bite-you-scratched-too-hard pain--but not--OMG I NEED FOUR TYLENOL EXTRA STRENGTHS NOW! kind of pain. I mean, geez. Maybe when I give birth to a ten pound baby who comes out sideways...or fall off a clliff and land on a cactus patch face first...or something.
