Hahaha. I'd love for that to go on for a bit longer. It was pretty funny.
EDIT: I checked out the other comics too, pretty good. Especially "Why Snape Didn't Mind So Much"

Oh, the Mary-Sue house was a thing of genius. ^_^

I also rather liked the various links. There was a good link on that site to an excellent essay on why Snape's good.
Also, there was a link to a quiz on what HP character you are, personality-wise. (going by Myers-Briggs) Apparently I've got the same personality as the Dark Lord Voldemort.

Oh my God, that's brillient! And rather sad is the fact that it closely resembles an actual fanfiction, written in all seriousness, that I was once asked to BETA.

^Ouch. So did you beta it? :)
Einna

Did. The entire thing was about 4 pages, but I gave up actually checking it after about half a page. It was just too bad to salvage, and I told the writer such in the nicest way possible. (AKA I gave her some links and claimed to have lost her one and only copy).

So what Myers-Briggs type was that, then? I'm curious, and I'm fond of M-B.

It was ENFP.

Yup. Sounds like what I know of you.

That quiz says I'm Snape. INTJ.
Jenevieve
June 23rd, 2006, 09:47 AM
Interesting. I don't know if I'd have pegged you as a J.
Elski
June 23rd, 2006, 10:13 AM
Hm? J is the judgement one, right? Vs the mercy/compassion one? That one changes with every test I take. I think I'm very neatly in the middle, and tests can never decide which I really am.

It's called Judging, but it doesn't actually have to do with Judging. It's Judging versus Perceiving, which means:
If you prefer your life to be planned, stable and organised then your preference is for Judging (not to be confused with 'Judgemental', which is quite different). This is denoted by the letter "J".
If you prefer to go with the flow, to maintain flexibility and respond to things as they arise, then your preference is for Perception. This is denoted by the letter "P".
P people tend to be a little more relaxed about things like, say, having a tidy bedroom and locker. :D

I was Lupin. Pretty fitting, really...social outcast, prefers love to war, compassionate and soft spoken (Luku, I swear to God if you say ANYTHING...)

Hey, my locker is very clean, I'll have you know. Because my notes are bound to have decomposed by now, and dirt is much cleaner than you'd think.
^^; in all seriousness, I think it's because I hate change and once I get an idea I'm very hard to persuade it was wrong, and also because of my love of planning things.

^Mm, I guess that does make sense. I know that I'm pretty borderline between P and J myself.

Being very strongly an INFP, I got Lupin, which I would disagree with in my own personal case (also because I am nothing like the description used there, which does seem to match Einna better. Maintaining harmony? WHY?). Anyways, although I'm classically introverted (I like solitude. a LOT.), my actual aversion to people tends to be physical only, with people I don't know. With friends, family, people I'm used to or on the internet, I pass very well as an extrovert. So for the purposes of the test I'd be more of an ENFP, thus Weasley twins, which I would agree with a little more. I always thought I was more like Harry, what with the bad-tempered rushing into things and being a total idiot a lot of the time, but never mind.
Randomly, on LJ Harry Potter character-sorting communities, I almost always ended up with Lily Evans/Potter. Which is nice. :D

Wouldn't that be more like Ron? O_o

Not nearly neurotic enough to be Ron. I could debate the finer points of Ron's personality vs. Harry's all night, and almost did just then, but I'm sure there's better things for me to be doing.
Although I will add that I love Ron and tend to be slightly too protective of him against people who don't. Ron-haters SUCK.

Oh, do debat the finer points in their personalities! I enjoy a well-worded and intelligent rant on the subject of the HPverse.

I just want to see some Dark!StealthyAssassin!Harry fics... >_>
...but that's probably because I have an unusual fascination with stealthy sorcerers. Too many video games have affected my mind. @_@

That was brilliant! I haven't been into HP since forever. I read all 6 books but refuse to read the last one since I got bored with the series. I mean I read the last book in a night but meh I found better series.
I quized: Dumbledore! I didn't expect him but I think it could be worse! I'm more neurtal on him so it isn't so bad for me. I could dig it. 8) :P
