On NIH, we actually encourage a certain level of promotion. So, if you own a site, or know of a good site, put it in this section, and we can discuss it and take a look at it. Obviously, no links to inappropriate things, but it may be off topic. I'd prefer no links to "teen" sites though please. (forums where the entire population is about 13 years old and only talk about boy/girl troubles etc)

Additional: I ask that you do not post links to 'rival' forums- it doesn't help either forum. By a 'rival' forum I mean a forum that is too similar to NiH, or is for art or writing in general, and not for a specific project.
Links to *sites* that are for writing or art are fine.

I don't think Tundra means just post whatever crap pops into your head. ;) She means that this is a forum for posting things that usually count as 'spam', ie links. Randomness can usually find a place in the Drawingroom, and posting just for the sake of boosting your post-count is always discouraged.

Thanks for that, Elski. That's exactly right.

I should add that if you're wanting to advertise sites please have posted at least 10 times, properly, around the forum. (Properly means not just 'yeah!' 'lol!' etc, but proper considered responses or threads) Thanks. Recommending links is only for members, and to be a member you have to actually post.
