If I recall correctly, when you have 42 posts it changes to Meaning of Life (with a pic).

I've also wondered why that little dude came up for that one. Why that one? Why not a different one?

What is the significance of it? http://www3.christianforums.com/images/smilies/scratch.gif

Since when do Vogons look like planets? It's from the cover of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (I think it first appeared on the Hitchhiker's Quartet.)

Nononononoooooo
it's NOT a Vogon!
EXPLICATION!
The American covers of the H2G2 books had this green planet on it, sticking out its tongue and with little spindly arms. In none of the books is there a planet like this. It was just some cover-designer who thought it looked cool.
Douglas Adams actually didn't like the planet-thingy.

Yep. It's on the cover. :D And I never knew that Douglas Adams didn't like it!

It was in the tv miniseries too. It was popping around the text of The Guide playing hide and seek.

I was sure I'd seen Tundra saying it was a Vogon... you know, I think I may have dreamed that part. It does look absolutely nothing like a Vogon, true. :)
Oh, well. *grin* I have the British cover on my copy, so no weird green thingy.
