View Full Version : If You Have Trouble Keeping Up

If you have trouble keeping up with the forum, a good thing to do is to use the 'view posts since last visit' function. This means you get a page with all the threads that have been contributed to since you last logged in. Makes it easier to scan the topics that you might be interested in reading, and that way, it gives you more time to post!

I think I need to bump this up. I've been having huge troubles keeping up lately... and if i'm having that problem, i'm surprised other people are coming back to try and hang out here at all.

Just limit Maulden's posting ;)

Hey, it's only a dozen or so topics I'm bouncing around in...

I'm really happy that you're enjoying NiH you know. :) But maybe you could not bump up so many older topics in the same day. I don't mind bumping up, but like... i'm getting lost... The other day I noticed a new thread that i'd missed for three days!
anyway, there is the function if anyone wants to use it. It's very useful.

It's driving me nuts, trying to keep up with the new stuff that's posted on NiH.

OK. I'll only post in the ones that are still on Page 1 (as opposed to bringing back threads from, say, page 8 of the Drawingroom).

^ you can bump up old ones. I actually don't mind that. There are good conversations in the older parts of all the sections, that are still very discussable. Just... not so many in one day okay?

fifteen times a day is giving me a headache.

Sure. I'll keep the thread resurrection down then.

^ i don't want you to stop altogether though. :) It's cool having old threads added to, especially in ones like TV, Movies, Writing, etc.
I don't mean any offense by the way, you seem like a cool guy and you fit in well.

you're excited. Maybe a little....to excited though?
Maulden
April 24th, 2006, 09:24 PM
Actually, I'm not excited at all. I haven't eaten anything sugary in over 12 hours. :P
And by "keeping it down", I just mean I'll only bring back small amounts of old topics on any given day. You know, maybe 4 or less. 8)
LadyAbby

sounds reasonable. Wait...four overall or four per forum?
Maulden
April 24th, 2006, 09:27 PM
Four overall. Besides, most of the thread resurrection goes on in the Drawingroom anyways. :P

NO kidding? huh? Sometimes I wander in there and wonder if it's worth sticking on NiH to sludge through the insane posting in the drawingroom.

Actually, just the Creativity forums alone make NiH awesome. 8)

that should go in the 'why we love NiH' instead of in here.

^ some necromancy is fine. :)
Anywho. I think that discussion is over. So... there's the fancy function if anyone wants to use it.

*sigh* I give up. It's just too difficult to sludge through the excessive posting.
