Imagine NiH is going to colonise another planet. We won't have contact with earth again.
Imagine that by what you pick here, you're helping to set up a library of books, cds, dvds, etc. Imagine there'll be no other items other than what we pick in this thread, due to space constraints. Imagine that these things will not wear out, so don't double up with what someone else has already said. It'll be interesting to see what we end up with! Oh, and imagine that this is what humanity will have to remind itself of earth, for the rest of eternity.

but- you'll have pens and paper, you'll be allowed to write down anything you can remember- but not copy it down before you leave.

These things will all be put in a library for everyone to share.

So.

Pick:

5 picture books
5 children's fiction books.
1 children's non fiction book
2 children's tv shows (pretend it's a dvd with all the episodes on it)
2 children's movies
1 children's classic.
1 children's book series

1 magazine (imagine that you can take the whole subscription until the time you leave earth)
1 board game
1 computer game
1 poster (it can be of anything!)

3 cds (say pick 3 artists- pretend all their work is on one cd) if you want mp3s, say there are 14 songs on each cd))
5 movies
5 tv shows
5 fiction books.
1 fiction series
7 non fiction books
1 documentary
1 webcomic
1 classic book
3 musicals (either movies that happen to be musicals, or stage productions filmed and put on dvd)

1 something else of your choice- can be another book, or tv show etc

Go! And remember- no doubles! If you change your mind- edit your post!
